The Courses
Why should you take an art course?
There are a lot of reasons, for example:
Maybe you enjoyed drawing and painting in school, and now that you have some time to yourself, you would like to try it again.
You are self-taught and feel that you are missing some basic instruction to put it all together.

You are newly retired and your wife/husband wants to get you out of the house before she/he goes nuts.
You have only worked in one medium and want to try something else, See the ARTventure course. (please refer ARTventure!).

What to expect in my courses
First of all, we meet to get to know one another. This meeting is free of charge. If you have painted before, then you should bring some examples of your work. We will review it, discover your strong points and which areas can be improved. If you are a beginner, we discuss your goals in taking the course. We then decide on a course schedule for the next four meetings.
The courses are limited to one or at the most two, in the case of students who want to paint with a partner. This guarantees enough time for quality individual instruction. I give special emphasis to demonstrations; I don’t just tell you what to do, I show you.
A course consists of 12 hours, either as 4 x 3 hours, or 6 x 2 hours, meeting once each week for
4 or 6 weeks.
You may take as many additional courses as you like.
If you live outside the Kaiserslautern area, you might consider this option:
It is possible to do a course as a two-day intensive course with an overnight. We work 3 hours in the morning, have a two-hour lunch break and then work 3 hours in the afternoon each day. We relax a bit, have a nice dinner, and you return to your B&B hotel, just a block from my studio, for a good night’s rest, we meet for breakfast the next morning and then continue with our second day of painting.
Course fee: € 170.-
