About me
BEVERLY B. NEVERS

I was born in Nelsonville, Ohio in 1942 and graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Cum Laude from Ohio University in 1964.
Previous to teaching, I enjoyed a career in graphic design and illustration for firms in Germany and America. Since 1976, I have devoted myself exclusively to painting and teaching.
I am a member of the Professional Artists Association of Rhineland-Pfalz, BBK-RP, and exhibit my work in Europe and America.
In 1985, I was coerced into teaching an adult-ed art class that turned out to be a life changing event. I found that not only could I teach, but I loved it! After attending several art-workshops in Austria, and learning what was needed to make a painting workshop successful, I realized that the Pfalz had everything: friendly supportive people, good food, good lodging, and an unparalleled variety of painting motifs.
With that in mind, I created the series of plein air workshops and international painting holidays known as Pfaelzer Palette. The courses were a hit, with students coming from all over Germany to paint not only in the Pfalz but also in France and Italy.
